It must have been around 2:30 or 3:00 in the morning when I first started my Rapid Eye Movements, I was in a deep state of sleep when I began a dream a wonderful dream. It went like this; some guy, a normal everyday citizen had finally taken all he could stomach. He had to do something but what? He had to deliver his message to the masses so he went to GunBroker.com and this is what he wrote:
First of all, Hello my name is Benjamin Franklin and I was one of the founding Fathers. I helped to write your Bill of Rights and the United States Constitution. I have come ahead in time via Thomas Edison's Time Machine. Quite a machine really, you see you put the date in this thing and then you do this other thing and....you get my point. I have spent several weeks now here in 2005 compiling as much information on the BATFE as I can find. It is quite a resume of terror, intimidation, and contempt for the Constitution to be sure. I truly believe they (BATFE) despise gun owners. Somehow you have allowed this to occur over and over and over and over...they laugh at FFL holders as they trash collector guns worth thousands. They joke about how nice this gun or that gun feels in their hands and that they 'just might keep this one'. These are just a minute portion of examples to the lengths they will go. How far will YOU go?
All I ever read in these forums is how bad it is with limited commentary resulting in solutions. Is everyone too intimidated to say what they are really thinking? "If not now, WHEN"? How many times must you be spat upon before you fight back? How many gun owners are there? With how many guns? I know it sounds crazy, but what are you waiting for? This IS exactly what the we, the forefathers, warned you about and the very reason we put it in writing. I believe it says something about "a well organized militia", when do you get to take your turn. You keep taking punches and yet you don't strike back. You are systematically being weakened to the point of non-aggression. Where do you have to be hit before you start punching back?
Make it very public, make it known to the World, "We're mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore." [:(!] How many gun owners? With how many weapons? Count yourself in. Your children will not grow up in an America that has SOLD OUT. Your Great Grandfather, your Grandfather, your Father, all fought and died for your freedom. Do you repay all the men and women who fought and died for your freedom, by bending over and taking it. They've raped Uncle Sam on National television and you have watched. It's time for Beaver to kick the ever lovin' S*** out of Wally and why not Eddie while he's at it. [:(!]
It's time someone presented a solution instead of whining about the problem! I've never been known to pull punches and I won't start now!

It was just then that my alarm went off and I awoke to the song 'Gonna Fly Now' of "Rocky" fame. As I dozed back off to sleep I was joined on the steps of Philadelphia's city hall by 7,000,000 gun owners who mysteriously had the same dream. GO FIGURE!

Comengetit, I admire your passion, but I believe any civilian insurection against this government would be suicidal.
Perhaps if we became much more organized, better equipped, and more dedicated to the cause... but I see none of those things happening, and this government would never allow as much as a spark of such a movement to even flicker. If the law came to my home to confiscate my guns then I would like to think I would have enough balls to go out in a blaze of glory, instead of just cower away in handcuffs, but I won't know until that moment comes. I surely know that I cannot rely on anyone to help me in that battle. I have met no one that would make such a sacrifice to defend their rights.
Even if I did decide to take as many of them with me as I could, I would still end up dead. There would be a small blurb on the evening news about a gun-toting radical who attacked the police and was killed, and my neighbors would probably say, "He seemed like such a normal guy... you just never know about people", and then they would carry on with their daily activities of lawn mowing and sipping beer in the sun.

NOT TIME, however. There has to be CLEAR and convincing PROOF what the Elites intend to do....yes, for you and I, the proof is as plain as the nose on Mount Rushmore...but for the stupid, brain-washed populace of todays Amerika...the situation must get MUCH WORSE.
Only one way to accomplish this. Get thee away from the political process...if you call your Congresscorruption...DEMAND TOTAL gun bans on everything. STOP 'slowing down' gun control by donating to NRA, et al....Let the scum making laws THINK we are beat..that the last Americans are dead or cowed ...rolled over and pis*** on their belly...
Mean while....train with the rifle...try and convince 3-5 others to train with you. Gather enough food and water to be comfortable.

Highball: So far I have found one person with the same beliefs that I have, YOU! (maybe jaflowers, I don't know yet) Is it possible that, out of all the people here at GB, that we are it? I will say this; I don't think I'd make it that easy for them. I'd make them work their * off for it (taking away our rights) and just when they begin to celebrate, BOOM! Rise up and make them hate the smell of napalm in the morning. Most of these sheeple don't realize that you can make weapons every bit as good as the military's. OK, maybe not as "good" but as effective. Besides, they aren't gonna want anything to do with CQB in the cities across Amerika. Makes me want to start planning!
Yep I'm definately in the same state of mind. I have to agree with Highball that the sooner it gets started would be best. That way we haven't lost too many numbers to the establishment. I've got my bit of surprise in store for the storm troopers when they come.[xx(]
