Flare guns are not considered firearms with their plastic barrels not capable of firing real shotgun rounds.
How about somebody making a fully automatic flare gun with a cordless drill battery pack operating the action and a 15 round magazine sticking out of the top or side?
A fully legal fully automatic weapon excempt from the Machine Gun Ban. Heck I want one to mount below the barrel of my CAR just for the giggle factor.
Anyone remembering the gyrojet can add 1+1 and see possibilities with home made ammo.
