Does Uncle Sam owe you a job?

This country has tariffed other countries goods for hundreds of years that were imported here to feed our Federal Govt. and provide jobs for us Americans.

Since both policies have been recently revoked...does the Federal govt. now owe everyone jobs?

    I don't think Uncle Sam owes me anything. I don't think I am entitled to anything from the government except to be left alone. I think the government should provide some very basic services. Probably a 5% sales tax would be more than sufficient to cover those services. Other than that, they should stay the hell outta my life.

    I think I came to the correct conclusion....tax other peoples cheap chet so that it compares to American made goods.

    It ain't wise to allow 3rd world countries to use child labor/etc to make chet to import here.....where no American could possibly make said chet for what the 3rd country makes it for.

    This world economy can not possibly work. I could live like a KING in the Phillipines/China/Mexico with $1000 a month whereas you couldn't get far in the US with $1,000 a month.

    But people will soon have to find a way to do it!!!

    Dependancy on foreign goods is the only way for the masses to stretch that worthless dollar. Example: Ruin the American tobacco industry (done deal-U.S.Cigarettes $25-$35/carton) they are moving to China. Import cigarettes from S.Amer.(currently $14-$15/carton) and China(currently $12-$14/carton),vitalizing their economy while destroying ours in the name of globaization.

    The correct conclusion is not " The federal government owes us a job"..
    The correct conclusion is to follow the Constitution...something none of the politicians, including the Godhead bush...is going to do.
