Well here it is boys, our first actual gun grab.
quote:Proposition H would take effect January 1, 2006. Until April 1, 2006, residents could surrender their handguns to any district station of the San Francisco Police Department or the San Francisco Sheriff's Department without penalty.
Leave it to San Francisco to vote their own gun grab into effect and set a precedent around the country that this sort of thing is OK. Every yes vote should be shot for treason, by disarming they have weakened a country and every city that falls from here on out will be just another brick in the wall. Highball, I think you may have got your wish except they are not going to get a yes vote in AZ, AL, KY, VT, AK, AR, MO, TN, GA, LA, TX, OK, UT, MT, ID, WY, and maybe a few others. That is almost 1/3 of the states. More than enough to be real pissed off when they fix the vote. This doesn't surprise me as much as it sickens me, I felt bad for the people that had to live in Kalifornication, but after this, they deserve neither liberty nor safety. PATHETIC they really should be shot or exiled every last one of them. I want to slap Dianne Feinstien in her fat little face and pull her heart out through her mouth. God I really dislike that * a whole bunch. I think if she lived in a Conservative state, she would have already eaten lead.
I could go on and on about how brain-washed Kalifornicators are but, what would be the point? They are now nothing more than pond scum as far as I'm concerned. If, when the time comes, you are scared...head West young man, if you are a patriotic American...head East.

I have a question, if those who do not wish to give up their guns start fighting back, do we sit back and watch? Because if we do, I think they will do each city one by one as to contain the masses. That is precisely what I have been concerned about. I think there may be isolated gun battles over this but not all at once, days or even weeks apart. They won't happen until people start getting caught with them.

This must be challenged in the circuit court and if they uphold...the Supreme Court. A total handgun ban in San Francisco, oh but not for the LEO's and Military. Gosh, I wonder why. How high will the crime rate rise in San Francisco? Dumb *!

The Bolshevik voters of Sodom has spoken... Now we go to the Supreme Court. This sould be an enforcement nightmare. I remember the San Francisco Gun Exchange in it's heyday. What a great gun store. Get your shotguns out to deal with the burglars in the future.

Perhaps a new Federal law that prohibits such bans can be passed...

Come to think of it I don't think a city can do it anyway. Seems to me I recall in the Constitution the power was grantes to the states not the incorporations. Oh yeah, and a line that says "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED". Are these people's vocabularies so challenged that they don't comprehend this phrase?

We need a court to rule that the Second Amendment is a Right and applies to the States via the 14th Amendmend. That has not happened yet. One to nothing, the Bolsheviks are ahead. Quillici vs Morton Grove is the case we have to deal with.

The fight is lost in kalifornia. as others have said, those people deserve neither peace, nor security. It don't make sense to me, but I guess a lot fo thangs don't. The real problem is this will inbolden others who want to see our guns banned. Completly agree with comeangetit the yes votes should be lynched.[}:)]

A virtually identical law was done in SF in 1982. State courts ruled that state pre-emption invalidated the law. And this is not the first. NYC, DC, and Chicago, and I believe the whole state of Hawaii have all gone there before.

The People of California have spoken.

They voluntarily wish to live under a Socialist government. The voting majority has affirmed this. They believe that the power base should lie in worker's unions and elected Socialist representatives.

If you live in California then you are condoning Socialism. If you do not wish to live under Socialism then GET OUT NOW!

If you feel that "It's not so bad" or "I can't leave because it would be too tough to leave my job/girlfriend/family/whatever," then you are also condoning Socialist rule, you are just a closet Socialist and don't realize it.

The day will soon come when the 30% - 40% of remaining Conservatives in California will be storming across the borders to escape (even more dramatically than they are currently). They will take their businesses, resources, and tax base with them. Then the Socialist government will do exactly what all other Socialist governments have done throughout history. They will CLOSE THE BORDER so that you cannot escape. You will not be allowed to just relocate. You will be taxed for leaving, hindered in every way, and ultimately physically prevented from leaving.

IF YOU DO NOT LEAVE CALIFORNIA NOW, YOU MAY SOON NEVER BE ABLE TO LEAVE!!!

The thing is that the Libs are the ones that are leaving.
They are taking there liberal crap to all of the surrounding states . Just look at what's going on out west.
The northeast will be right behind them . Libs leave
the messes they make because they don't like what's
going on . When they get a new place they can't wait
    to F#*k it up.
It takes a lot of drugs both legal and illegal to make
a Liberal think the way they do. If you can imagine
how liberal this country is just think about the drug
lords and how they count money ,by the pound.
They create welfare for all that will take it. This
breeds generation after generation of misfit
with hands out to the point that the libs don't
like were they live anymore so they move into
    your backyard and start over.
The next thing they are scared to death when
you touch off a round. They pass a law against
shooting in your town , then after that a gun
ban . Just look what you have to look forward
to. I thank god every day for cities , for if not
for cities they would all be in my town or yours.

I don't think so. They have migrated to a place that accepts their beliefs. Oregon and Washington are two states that have had it embedded in them to follow suit, but it is localized to that. All of the border states are not quite as sympathetic to these kommie policies, and some of them are the least likely to ever accept it, especially when the people of the left coast migrate to them to escape their madness, right WW?

The New England states are the ones affected, here. In the surrounding states, there are too many people who will not allow this sort of thing to infect them. I've said it, before, once a person realizes the truth, they turn on their lying malefactors. More people turn from antigun beliefs than progun beliefs. That's just the way it is.

I fail to see how drug lords can be compared to our system. Drug lords are trying to get rich in easy fashion. The system is trying to control you. the goals are different. I do understand about the encroachment part of this thesis, however, but one reason why a welfare family can move into your back yard, but yet a druggie won't, is that the neighbors will have them removed, by force, if necessary.

Look on the bright side. Liberals congregate in large cities, where the bulk majority of the BS happens. Let them be the ones sacrificed on the altar of cowardice. One less liberal to fight.

Since moving to Nevada from the Bay Area, I have to say there is A LOT of Liberal infiltration into Nevada. Of course Las Vegas is a cespool of Liberalism, but even where I live, in Northern Nevada, there are a lot of Liberal Bay Area transplants. They revere San Francisco as Muslims do Mecca. I am the only Conservative in my office of 10 people. There are coworkers of mine that make monthly trips to San Francisco because they just "love it". When I ask them why they don't just move there they usually say because it is too expensive and too crowded. I don't understand how they can revere a place that is 100% controlled by Liberals, that they admit is screwed up, and then try to espouse the same politics here in Nevada that screwed up California.

My coworkers were all pouty and irritated after last year's election because Nevada went for Bush. They said "I guess we have to just move to the coast or the Northeast". This excited me because I thought they might be serious, but they are still here. I don't understand how they suddenly expect a staunch Republican state to suddenly turn Liberal, but Nevada gets closer and closer each year. And we did produce that hell spawn Harry Reid. I've only been a Nevadan for over a year, and I didn't vote for Reid, but I apologize to all of you that my state ever produced such a piece of slime. He is the epitome of Las Vegas Liberal scum.

Hey, it could be worse. You could have 2 Republican Senators from your state only to learn that one of them is a staunch Democrat, a proverbial wolf in sheeps clothing. That's how I view our "good friend" John McCain, gun grabber to the core. This guy is like a transvestite, he has no clue what he is or isn't. He's very confused. What's worse is he could be the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, Uuuggghh! There was a point when I liked the things he had to say but, he caught that insidious disease known as Democratic Liberalism. Who knows how long he will survive, it really is an awful disease right up there with Marburg and Ebola.

We need to erect a wall all along the Arizona, Nevada, and Oregon borders, with no gates, no one in and no one out. Let them cecede and call them a Republic, good riddens. I don't know how amsptcds does it.....................hmmm?

It is the upscale Libs that are the coke heads.
The gun guys I know are the only ones not smokin
pot. The schools are making little libs faster
than we are able to fix them. We just voted in a
law that will fill the schools with gay teachers
    to teach alturnative life styles.
A law that we protect them from us.
    This is a sad day.[:(][:(][:(][:(]

I hear ya. I've met more reformed antis than I have reounced pros, though. I don't know any renounced pros. I know well over a hundred reformed antis. Why? Because truth can stand on its own.

This makes me very, very sad. I would like to see a challenge in defense of what's left of the Constitution.

I also thinnk we should pool our money together and make bumper stickers to hand out to all of the populus in the Frisco area that read.

    Replace "Porposition" with "Gun Control"
    Replace "Hemmeroids" with "Armed Criminals"

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature, and has no chance of being free unless made or kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
