What do you think

If the state of Illinois wants to ban these firearms Ar15 ak, ect. Do you think that the mayor of chicago would disarm his body gards? What about the Govonors body gards. They would probably not feel very safe. I know lots of law bidding citizens that would not feel safe.
What do you all think?

Only the cream of the crop get to keep their guns. They can't trust the rank and file to own guns and act responsibably!

It works the other way folks, you can't trust a government that can't trust its citizens!

This is along the same lines as police officers that use cell phones while driving over the speed limit through red lights all at the same time.......they are above the law !

By the way....I have nothing agaist police officers.

I have worked as a "public servant" for several years now. Whenever there comes around a new safety policy or mandatory training, it seems that the group that always creates the most difficulty with complying is the law enforcement types. For those that are supposed to be the authority on the law, it sure seems like they have the most trouble with consenting to authority themselves. Talk about being above the law. Just my humble observation.

BTW, the second most troublesome group is usually the elected officials. They never seem to want to comply with any rule, they just want to create and impose new ones. After all, they represent the "will of the people".

It has been my experience that as laws work there way down the state it be comes less and less enforced. Just like in the state of IL it is illegal to modify any car, if this was enforced then a lot of people I know would be in trouble. Personally, I think Bachgoreawitch is screwing himself over by passing this. By passing this law will make the ATA move from their new home in Sparta,IL to Via Los Vegas there for loosing any money that they ATA people bring to area. Also, I would call my uncle in MO and ask him if he would like to "buy" some guns off of me until I can move across the river to his neck of the woods.
