Concealed Weapons Class ??

I would like a little more security (other than my car as a get-away vehicle) when researching certain areas of question in our city.

Is there a good read about the requirements to get a permit for having a concealed weapon?

    I would suggest your first resource is your local police department. In my state, they are the authority that issues the permits.

    Requirements will vary. If you have chosen to live in a 'Shall Issue' state the only requirements are those listed on Form 4473.
    Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

    Different states have different requirements. If you live in Vermont, if you can legally buy it, you can carry it, concealed. If in New York, you better be a REAL good friend of "somebody" or you ain't gonna get a "permit" [:(!] to carry.
