I am a US citizen and will be going to canada soon. Does any body know if you can purchase a gun in canada and legally transfer it to own in the US. I looked around on the internet and found out I can purchase a gun in canada but couldnt find ot any thing about bringing back to the US. Thank you for any input.

I know they can legally be mailed to an FFL dealer, but I am not sure if you can physically legally carry it through the border. I would research it before you try anything in Canada, they are very strict with gun laws.

If you can it would also depend on a few things like type, maker, etc. I know that you can't buy any guns in the US that are made in China at this time due to Hillery, thank you very much [:(!].
