Pickenup, who was the guy that took Denver to task on this and was left high and dry by the saintly NRA? Is he out of jail yet for exercising his right..err/umm privelege?
Funny you should mention this right about now.
I imagine your talking about Rick Stanley. It's still ongoing.
He is the guy that openly wore a sidearm, while making a speech announcing himself as a candidate for the senate, in a park in front of the State Capitol. (city of denver) (there is a state law that acknowledges that you have the right to carry openly)He announced his intention to do so ahead of time, and the police obligingly arrested him. He did the same thing later in a suburb of Denver. (Thornton) He was again arrested.
He was later found guilty of "intimidating judges" for filing a Notice with the court containing language that allegedly frightened two judges.
Imagine, this all started when the IRS WRONGLY accused Rick of owing "big bucks" to the tax man.
Along the lines of what some people have been asking about in here (this forum) as of late. Rick started a newsletter "Scoop Newsletter" along with a - militia. [:0]
"The Second American Revolution Militia." [;)]
Interestingly enough, he is one that called for an armed, camera carrying, wall of people, to be in place around the tax protesters Ed and Elaine Brown`s house. The couple that have barricaded themselves in their home after being convicted of tax evasion charge(s). We have a thread in this forum about this couple.

One never knows how different people's paths will cross.
Some may find his thoughts to be interesting reading.
Let me know what you think.
Here is a link to some of his ideas.
