    Just remember, Democrats only support the first amendment when you are saying something they like. All else is "hate speech."

    Absolutely correct, Highball. And I was very surprised and disappointed by the "conservative" reaction. Notice that the question the student was asking before he got tazed was regarding Kerry's involvement in Skull & Bones with G. W. Bush. Could this be why both sides wanted to downplay this incident?

    I can not recall anybody here referring to anything anybody said as "hate speech" or "speech not constitutionally protected." Our speech is involved in arguments about opinion, or (some) personal attacks (trfox, unjustly, is often a lightning rod in this area). I, as well as others here have not jumped on the bandwagon of comparing any comment on here to yelling "Fire" in a crowded building.
