Help with Gun Control Name Changers

What started out as a question has grown into a monograph and maybe a book. I am one of those rare NRA Life member pro-Second Amendment high school government teachers. Anyway, students ask me lot's of questions about the 2nd Amendment because my take is so different from that of the other teachers. I started to put together a collection of articles I have written on the subject for the Western Missouri Shooters Alliance (www.wmsa.net) but realized there was too much "political humor" in them to hand out to students. My gosh, I am already under enough scrutiny and censorship as it is because of my pro-2nd Amendment views...very close scrutiny. I tried to cut and paste them without the humor but then, they made no sense. So, I started writing them over. What started out as a monograph has morphed into 8 chapters...a book! Anyway, this is what I need help with.

It is a challenge to keep up with all the name changes the anti-gun groups have gone through. I am looking for any source (flowchart?) that would trace and or chart the name of each anti-gun group, say from 1970 to present. This is for my chapter 3. My premise is that the names and rhetoric have changed, but not their goals or agenda. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

1970-Good starting point. But, if starting in that era, I would recommend 1968. Although the change has not, nor ever will be admitted to, The "U.S. Congress" should be referred to by its actual functionality. "Lap Dog". Of the Left Wing Elitists, Globalists and Special Interest Lobbyists.

Sorry, probably no help for your book, but such an easy target I had to take the shot!!

i would imagine that what you wish would have to be a case by case study....they would'nt make it easy on you.
start with one group,follow it forward till the present and start with another,they would be registered as non-profits i would presume.......

I was 15 years old when I bought my first handgun without an adult and no background check. I was 28 years old when a DemocRAT copied Hitler's gun control and sold it to a DemocRAT controlled congress (40 years of democRAT control ) that thought it was a great thing to do. Welfare ( steal from the one who do well and give to the one who don't do or won't do) a DemocRAT program to make citizens dependent on government. What we have now is 50% of the people in this country dependent on a pay check from the government from working for or sucking off the government tit, farm subsidy (money to not grow a crop) government grants given to people to do research and tell us that butter isn't good for us.
Communism , Socialism , Marxism , liberalism is all the same bill of goods no matter who writes it . Man was not created equal and republicans , democRATS or Sam Colt can never make it so.
An armed citizen is a free man , a disarmed citizen is a slave.
I am an independent nonconformist and when I vote I have very few like myself to vote for. If I am to vote I have to vote for the person that will do me the least amount of harm and that is not people that when they get to government vote the party line because they are tolled to. Dam the Constitution or what is right .
