4 days phone wait background check

I've been waiting 4 days on the phone for a back ground check.This has happened many times this year.All they say is due to high volume there's a 45 min wait.Are the anti-gunners jamming the lines????The system is bad.How can this be fixed so only ffl people can get thru or something.I feel it's only gonna get worse.Any ideas who I can contact to complain...thanks.Where does all this back ground info go to?????Does anyone who wants to know what guns I own have access to this info.Is this gun registration???Please help.

I had to come back the following day, as there was a recording on stating their computers were down for "maintenance".
My FFL said he had never experienced anything like that before.
I have no idea what is the true cause of the issue.
