I feel so good on this forum

This forum makes me feels so good. I have been a gun owner and shooter and hunter for almost 50 years. I have carried a handgun for personal protection (and the protection of others) for over 40 years. I have always had a permit to carry firearms because it has always been easy to acquire here in my rural part of Pennsylvania. The local law enforcement welcomes armed citizens here. I am in general a serious and law-abiding citizen. I own many firearms of all kinds. I bought my first military-style semi-auto when Bill Clinton got elected and it looked like maybe we wouldn't be able to get them any more. I didn't think I really needed any until then. I have acquired a few more since then. Just in case...
I have fought against gun restrictions all my adult life. I would do anything I could legally do, to do my part to preserve our rights. I haven't (yet) seen the need to do anything illegal, as long as the government can be kept in check. I know it is a continuous struggle, and much needs to be done. I revere my country, and its wonderful Constitution. I have been an NRA memebr since I can't remember. I am currently a NRA Benefactor Life Member; the NRA has always done more than any other group to preserve and defend our gun rights. I know they aren't perfect. I work to steer them in the right direction when and if I can.
I have always had at least one job. I pay taxes (way too much!). In most circles I am considered a hard-core right-wing activist and gun nut. But compared to many on this forum I represent a moderate stance. I don't feel like I'm out on the right-wing fringe here, for one of the few times in my life! It is sort of an odd feeling...

The Constitution ..and the Second Amendment in particular.is a perfect balance point between the extremes of Socialism and Fascism.
The thrust of the amendment was to prevent the federal government from gaining total control over the Sovereign Citizens of America.
Therefore.those of us advocating Original Intent are centrists.
You that promote and actively push government controls over firearms are INDEED either Socialist or Fascists.or Fasilists, the modern basterdazation..or unholy morphing found in the present administration.
"Right Wing" ..as used by the ignorant today ..and applied to staunch Constitutionalists ..is merely an attempt to marginalize and sideline us.
We refuse to be sidelined.and we refuse to allow the weak-kneed NRA types to define the process any longer.
Resume your self-imposed position as a Right Wing Extremist.
Voluntarily.
I do advocate each and every gunowner and shooter to do all he/she can to preserve the right, in whatever way possible. I certainly can't read all the NRA bashing here without wondering where we'd be if there had not been an NRA organization all along. I know there are other organizations, but they don't have the power of numbers. If the NRA needs improved upon, join, write, advocate, bring them up to the standards you would like to see. The more numbers, the more strength the organization can have to advocate gun ownership positions. I don't remember them ever advocating government controls over gun ownership and usage; I don't remember them ever compromising.
REALLY short memory.
They were responsible for the recent (what..a month ago ?) Veterans Disarmerment Act.
Ever heard of Project Exile ?
'Shootist';
I need to add one thing here. Rereading your posts left me with no clue as to wether you supported Nics checks, waiting periods, government meddlings into the free movement of firearms.
I draw my conclusions on your support for the NRA..which supports ALL the above.
The friend of mine enemy cannot be my friend, in other words.
There is a vast difference between obeying tyranny becuase you MUST..on risk of death...
And supporting said tyrant.
