California gun transfer

kolob10kolob10 Member Posts: 4 ✭✭
Can a resident of Indiana ship through an Indiana FFL to a California FFL (who is the actual buyer - he is not merely transfering to a CA resident) revolvers that are not on the California "approved list".
Case in point is S7W model 28 revolver.

I would say that if Komifornia, has that gun listed as "not approved", I wouldn't ship it, even through a FFL. You *could* get the FFL in trouble if he doesn't know better.

I would say no--eventhough FFL's in CA do sell guns to out of state buyers guns that are not on the approved list(like guns they took in on trade that are old and were never on the list) I don't belive they can bring them in except in the case of a LEO. Have him show you the statute that says he can import it for himself.
