Hey everybody! Ship a gun to California!

t the roguet the rogue Member Posts: 12 ✭✭
The new "approval letter" law in California was designed to provoke a calculated response in hopes of eliminating a source for people in this state to acquire firearms. Feinstein and the rest of the socialist yahoos in this state are frustrated that our forefathers gave us legal rights which prevent them from acheiving their goal. So, they illegally spend millions of tax dollars provided by over 12 million anti liberal voters in this state to devise sneaky laws to try to discourage us. We, however, are going to remain couraged. If those of you in other states would be willing to make the extra effort that they now require in order to ship a firearm to California, you will be helping to foil one more anti American mini plot in this country. They all add up people. At the very least, each time you go through the extra hassle, you can feel good in the fact that you are supporting the spirit of the Americans who formed our framework for freedom and those who have fought for our way of life.
Hey, Come on everybody! Ship a gun to California.
(it really pisses them off}

Hmmm, sounds like a good start for a new song.

Just to clarify for some of those who are misunderstanding the intent of this post... it is a response to a lot of statements by sellers on this site who say that they will no longer sell guns to California.

Just as Iraqis cannot be forced into a model democracy, neither can the bewildered population of California be saved by the rest of the country. Only when Californians stand up for themselves and hold their politicians accountable will they begin to retain their liberties.

At this point, every Californian is complicit in the ever quickening movement by their government into socialism. Remaining in that state means that you are a socialist by association.

Well Mr woundedwolf, so your solution is that 12 million proponents of the US constitution in California should pick up and abandon the state because they were out-voted by 14 million others. We should just run away so that we will not be, as you put it, "socialists by association". Well that has to be one of the most ludicrous and cowardly statements I have heard. Frankly your words are those of a man who is ignorant of the situation here and in this country. We can all be thankful that our forefathers were not the same kind of American as you during our struggle for independence. They did not leave anyone behind by blaming them for their own problems and they certainly did not run from states where there was trouble. The way to stop trouble is by confronting it at it's source and the kind of trouble brewing in this country today does not stop at state boundaries.
What are you going to do if there are 2 million more people who vote for obama in the upcoming election? You are suddenly going to have more problems than you ever imagined! Where are you going to run?
It amazes me how easy it is for someone like you to sit in a safe place, where there is no direct confrontation with oposing political factions, badmouthing others who are in the middle of the ****, while doing nothing yourself. Your statements are counter productive and serve only those whom you claim to oppose. This state and it's emourmous abundance is too precious to abandon to anti Americans.

If you have any other ridiculous things to say, do it somewhere else for I will gladly give you a real thrashing.

Hey T ... bash me while you're at it.
I don't see your point of sending guns to CA. There are more effective (and less expensive ways) of achieving the goals you wish to achieve.

STAND UP for yourself, solicit your neighbor's help, start petitions, write letters to editors and state reps, Establish several California pro-gun websites, by newspaper ads, document and publish crime statistics, research and document sucesses in States that support the 2nd admendment, get a referendum or ballot initiatives, yell, scream, hollar and pursuade EVERYONE you know and don't know to support legal firearms in California. All the while, VOTE YOUR IDIOT LEGISLATORS OUT OF OFFICE and Elect True 2nd Admendment SUPPORTERS!

Us sending Californians guns will do only one thing; GIVE CALIFORNIANS FREE GUNS!

Well, roguestatesman. I don't know what to say to someone who is capable of misunderstanding, so completely, the intent of my statements. Noone is asking anyone to send free guns to California. I am not asking you to help out here. Although, I am sure you would drop everything in a second to become a full time gun rights advocate at the first sign of trouble in your state. I merely suggested that if there were any people who would like to help make a difference regarding a second amendment issue that they had an opportunity here. You need to grow up, open your eyes, look at the whole picture and lose your territorial, football fan attitude because this is not a football game and if you think that your location will be immune to gun grabbing tactics after the liberals have figured out how to defeat 12 million of your brothers in California YOU ARE DREAMING.
You suggest also that we vote our legislators out of office. Well that is just brilliant roguestatesman! What is it that you don't understand about majority rule. I don't know how to explain that so it will make sense to you.
Finally, there are a lot of people, including myself, doing all of the things you suggest we do here and more. furthermore, just fyi there is no way that you could more pissed off about this situation than those of us who are confronted with it everyday.

Ha! I was thinking the same thing.

t the rogue ... if its gonna be so difficult to change this, move to a ProGun state and let the Calis have it. Its gonna fall into the ocean anyway (at least we are praying your state and Fed legislators do), and if you're moved by then, you'lll be safe and gun-toting FREE!!

As for me, I'm a Class III weapons holder and will do anything to protect my rights. Furthermore, I WILL do ANYTHING for anyone to maintain and/or increase our gun rights, but I'll do it the best way possible and that DOESN'T include sending guns to others, just to make a statement.

Lets try to find another, more convincing way to make California more Gun-Friendly.

Rouguestatesman has certainly got it right. VOTE THEM OUT!!!!! Majority rules is bull. The state voted to ban gay marrage, yet the state supreme court overruled it and made it law. Do not ask us to bail you out, YOU should bail yourself out. Have YOU call your elected officals today?- yeserday, day before that? if not, shame on you! If you have not planed a ralley and called your officals and threaten to unemployee them you will never get results. But what do I know- I come from a state that clings to my guns (Pa.) Joe

Well, Mr. Joes, the fact is that we all here are hoping that San Francisco and Oakland would just fall into the ocean or Los Angeles. That would rid our state of a lot of riff raff and give us back control of the state. All the freaks live in the coastal cities. The rest of us are regular rural folk who ranch and farm or work in the majority of the area in this state.
Mr Joes, you have a very narrow perception of how things get bad.I would like to explain a couple of things to you. I know you can read but can you comprehend? I'll take a chance that maybe you can. Here we go.
The court justices in the ninth circuit are liberal stooges. As far as contacting our officials... you can forget it. They are worthless. The idiots here, the coastal urbanites and suburbanites, over ran the state, outnumbered us and now they have everything the way they THINK they want it. Wait until they are cryin and begging the rest of us to help them. And the day will come! Anyway we have a liberal governor who claimed to be republican. He was obviously a poor choice but the only choices given were bad and worse. Sound familiar? Anything going on like that at the national level? The choice we have to make in the upcoming presidential election is obvious but only because the alternative is worse. I think he is ultimately just a turncoat in a republican mask. I Hope I'm wrong. There were better choices but somehow they were taken away from us. Hmmmm.... imagine that. Is it because the republican party knows that we are outnumbered and that a strong conservative candidate will not stand a chance and that the only way to get enough votes is to get a mix-breed who sits on the fence and who will appeal to some liberals also? A bad trade off as far as I'm concerned. Lesser of 2 evils?
What if, Mr joes, the ignorant people you despise outnumber everyone else, Obama becomes president and they start telling you how things are going to work differently in this country. Then, I'll bet you would start to have a more realistic perception of how **** happens.
Most democracies throughout history have had about a 200 year lifespan because the exact same crap that's happening here brought an end to them, but we have history to learn from, unlike other failed societies, so it doesn't have to repeat itself! I think that we are more headstrong and would ultimately set things straight, but not if wer divide ourselves because of unclear thinking.

'T' ... you HAVE said it ALL!! Thats all we need to know about the 'victims' of California. They won't 'fend for themselves and at the same time, whine like a baby at "Poor we gun wannabe gun owners" that the very idiots we elected don't want to give us our guns back!!!
Come on T ... where's that drive, where's that zeal, where's the fire in your spine to fight for what you believe in.
I tell you what T ... I'll offer you this. I'm one hell of an event organizer. If you wish to fight and fight with all your might, I'll donate have the expenses (you pay the other half up front) and I'll come to your city, organize and publicize a MASSIVE Pro-Gun rally with all the trimmings and WE will do everything possible to get the average Californian their guns back. Whata ya say?? Are you really serious about gun rights?
YOU Wont even have to Thank me!!

Well Mr. T- That same thinking is certainly NOT what our forefathers stood up for. The King, much like your stae goverment wanted to disarm and tell the people how to live. It seems you would have just followed 225 years ago instead of standing up for yourself. Hilter too, told the people to disarm and this is best for them. DO YOU NOT SEE OR HEAR WHAT IS GOING ON. If you chose not listen to me then listen to the others that have posted. And as a footnote you have answered my question you have done NOTHING to fight for your rights, contacted no one, just type away complaining that "there's nothing you can do" boo hoo! Let me go very slowly because it seems it is you that is not understanding who works for who- stand up for your self much like our founders did IT'S YOUR RIGHT AND JOB TO DO SO, or at least the fathers of our nation thought so, but maybe they too were wrong and you liberal elected officals must know more than they did. Or do nothing and I will get a good deal on your guns in time. - I could some new ones anyhow!

    This thread makes me laugh...

Four and a half years ago, when I joined this forum, I was a frustrated Californian living in the Bay Area. I had been born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley, which is certainly more conservative than L.A. and the Bay Area, so I am very familiar with this "situation".

Mr. T the Rogue, I admire your enthusiasm, but if you think you have 12 million allies in the gun rights cause among your neighbors in California then you are the one that is ignorant. I will prove it to you. Start asking your California friends, family, and neighbors about their position on machine guns. See how many you can get to sign a petition to repeal California's ban on Class 3 firearms. If you are right, you should get at least 1 out of every 3 people to sign it. I would be surprised if you could find 1 out of 10.

I came to my senses in 2004 and decided to move to Nevada. It was a sacrifice, I left a good paying job and my family, but I knew it was the right thing to do. I could no longer stand by and live in a place that was being overrun by illegal aliens and controlled by socialists. The few conservatives I knew were either the country club types, who would sell out their neighbor for a buck, or were too bewildered to know what to do. So they did nothing and let the heat get turned up around them, like frogs in a stew pot. I DID DO SOMETHING, I left. There was no way I was going to sacrifice my liberty for people that had no clue how to defend theirs.

California is getting exactly what it deserves. If you think that Liberals have a narrow advantage in California, then just look at the margin by which Feinstein and Boxer won their last elections. It wasn't even close. The Libs have firm control over the state. If you think there is salvation for the Central Valley, then try to get every county from Bakersfield to Redding to secede. See how many you get to sign that petition. I doubt you will get many, because you are the one surrounded by cowards.

You see Mr. "T", I know true liberty. When I squeeze off 25 rounds from a Thompson sub-machinegun, I am more free than any Californian. I have that freedom because I chose not to consort with socialists and cowards any more. I am living in the REAL America.

I know that you are just starting here, so I hope you stick around. Once your chest deflates and you recognize that there are a lot of people here that are more intelligent than you and have been around here for a VERY long time, then maybe you will stop to read and learn a thing or two about your "situation". And maybe, if you learn to recognize that you do not have all the answers, you might actually learn something about YOURSELF.

My freedoms and rights mean just as much or more to me than anyone else's and if I see no hope for preserving those rights, I'll pack up and move. Once I get moved, FORTIFY!!!
I'm in Texas and yes, we have awesome gun laws here. But I don't take them for granted.
I write my state legislators and Fortify. I write letters to editors and ... FORTIFY. Why Fortify? Cause you never know when you'll have wished you had FORTIFIED!![;)][;)]

Wounded Wolf is a fine example of an American.
Faced with insurmountable odds, he elected to attack from a different direction.complete with a winning mindset.

Just as the ragged bands of Liberty Fighters refused to march out into an open field and slug it out toe to toe with the greatest military machine ever seen ..the British Regular. in SPITE of Washingtons' contempt for them..
Wounded Wolf has gained a position of strength.and prepared himself mentally for the REAL task coming down the pike, here in America.

That being, of course, if we are ever to regain our freedom and Independence..

All your crying to the legislators is rather meaningless, old boy.no matter HOW much you wish it weren't so.

I came here to post something for normal people to read. I have been a member of gunbroker for several years now and I knew that you nutbags hung out in here. You got no lives and nothin better to do than come in here every day and puff each other up, look for prey and posture for position like a little pack of "cyber hyenas". I did a little lookin around this site and found your posts all over the place. I know all about you guys. You're nothin new. You are makin a hell of a big deal about something the rest of us already know. The problem for you guys is that you are not as smart as you think you are. Take all that jabber to some sites where it hasn't been beaten to death. But then why would you? You can sit here and pat each other on the back where noone will argue with you.

I came back here one last time to say something to the rest of you who read this thread. Don't be fooled by tough talk. These guys aren't doin anyone any good here. And if things ever got as bad as THEY all hope they will, they wont be any help either. They will either screw things up with bad timing or bad tactics or, probably just be rounded up by the FBI before the second drop of "***" hits the fan since they have been so accomodating as to provide a very revealing profile.

One last comment for Mr wounded wolf. Usually, the truth be told, guys who pick up and leave their jobs, homes and families have reasons other than those they care to reveal.

Ok, you "tough guys" can continue now. I promise, this time, that you can say whatever you want without another response from me. I have no more time to waste with you.

Notice how the `nutbags' are the people talking about the Constitution, BOR, and freedom.
and the sane, healthy, reasonable people are the ones talking about crawling on their bellies, kissing the `Masters' private parts ?

Believe that I will remain a `nutbag' ..and preserve my dignity.

Plus one other fact. I may well run away like a little girl, screaming at the big, bad JBTs'..but I can guarantee you I will not line up to turn in my guns.unlike the `T Rogues' of the world.

One comes to a site titled "Gun Rights and Constitutional Law" ..and demands that we that post here bow down and kiss the Beasts' * ..and to take the subject that has been 'beaten to death' 'somewhere else'.

I guess if we here start to congratulate each other on finding a newer, more innovative way to kiss * with the Beast we will be welcomed back into the land of the `sane, normal' people.ehhh ?

Sooo Sorry, jack ..you have willingly surrendered your Rights, your Liberties, and your Freedoms to your Masters.

Don't expect those of us that haven't to extend a helping hand to FUTHER erode OUR Rights.just to make you feel better.

I was at a gun show in the Dallas area earlier this year, specifically, in Mesquite. For some reason there was a really heavy police presence. Lots of them walking around "advising" people of gun law technicalities. I saw one seller get in trouble for not reinstalling a trigger lock quickly enough after showing a pistol to someone. My friend from Idaho, who met me there for the show, kept asking what was going on in that state. Most didnt know and seemed quite pissed off. I dont necessarily feel the same way as my friend, but he says it looks like Texas went down the tubes and he says he will never go back. What is all that about Mr. FORTIFIER????

I thought that you were done, finished, gone, outa here?

That sure didn't last long, now did it.

I am concerned that you don't understand what goes on at a gun show.
    Let me explain.
These are commercial ventures that are an extreme headache for all that are envolved.
I like a "heavy" police presence.
They were more than likely asked to be there by the show owners.
They could also be off duty and just having fun like you.
You also have to understand that there could have been an accidental
    discharge at a previous show.
I have seen this happen at 3 different shows and it will scare the hell out of you !
Now we get to the trigger locks .
When the Alabama Gun Collectors made everybody start using cable ties
on guns I was also offended.
One of our floor walkers caught a idiot trying to sneak a round into a revolver while no one was looking.
The guy was arrested(thankfully),but the cable ties are a remedy .
There are too many people waiting for a chance to come down on these shows like a ton of bricks. Our two POTUS candidates come to mind .
When we find a vendor with a gun with no strap,we will supply him with one .
If he refuses we have a problem .
If your friend will not come back because the show owners want a safe show, then he needs a new hobby .
Sorry to be such a pain about this ,but we want people to come and have a good time, but above all we want them and theirs to go home safely .

Actually, given the levels of perverts,Socialists and general screw-ups in California..it appears the politicians over there know the level of people they control better then the rest of us do....and deem them better unarmed then armed.
