My google-fu is weak today... have a rimfire steel plate match coming up, and i'd like to run some drop calculations but i'm having a hard time finding the BC of either a 40grn LRN or 38grn HP ... I've seen numbers from .10 to .15 on the LRN, which of course makes a fairly big difference...

The standard velocity 40 grain load is more accurate at distance.
Yes, due to the transonic shift. Actually the rifle I'm planning on using *really* likes Remington sub sonic hps (38grn hp @ ~ 1080fps)
But I don't have time between now and Sunday morning to actually do enough shooting to work out the drop tables.... looking to get a baseline w/ math
