Reloading for Model 94

NeoBlackdogNeoBlackdog Member Posts: 17,197 ✭✭✭✭
I've got a Winchester Model 94 chambered for 32 Win. Spcl.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that you should use small base dies when reloading for lever-action rifles. Is this correct?

Edit... Thanks Okie743!

    No:

I posted the same question on here last year about a win 94 30/30 and after several replies indicating to just try a regular die set, I just used a regular sizing die and then checked chambering afterwards and all ok.

I did also buy the lee factory 30/30 cal crimp die to make the crimping more user friendly!

Just use standard dies. I have loaded for the 32 Win. Spl. for over 45 years and never had any chambering problems. I load a lot of 8 MM 150 spire points and they group great in my gun. Makes the gun a two shooter but rarely do I need the second round anyway.
