FMJ 55 gr Winchester do ok if you want the fur, 45 gr Hornady SX is what I like for varmits. IMR 3031 is what I use because I have lots of it and my 722 is old and well used. For trigger time I run the cast bullet Lyman 225438 over AL-8.

edit Nice group sandwarrior. I'd call that one ragged hole.

I don't pelt hunt so I use the 55 gr. Hornady SX with 19 grains of IMR4198 and a CCI small rifle magnum match primer. This will put three slugs in a nickel at 100 yards from my old Marlin/Sako with a 1 in 14" twist.

50 gr. V-Max, 19.3 gr IMR4198. Dime size 5 shot groups from 788 and both Varmint special 700's at 100yds.

55 gr. V-max on top of 22.3 gr. of AA2015. Most accurate load I ever shot, and kills jackrabbits instantly is the 50 gr. Sierra Varminter on top of 22.8 gr. of AA2015. That BTW is THE most accurate load I ever shot on paper as well, ... .013" five shot group.[;)]
