Can 50 cal military blanks be reloaded???

Can the old crimped 50 cal empty brass casing be cleaned up and loaded with bullets?

    They might work for a few loads. Would not be my first choice. Some blanks were reloads to start with not sure about 50's.

    I tried it with some 30-06 blanks. Didn't work very good. It was hard to strighten the necks and trim. I think blanks are made with seconds.

    Yes, done it with 308 (actually made then into 7mm08)and 223, but like others have said, there are much more economical solutions that require much less labor and better results.
    Somrthing to do once, then you've been there done that, and hope to never have to do it when the SHTF.
