OK here are some more pics extractor is brass plated as is part of the bolt head. The shiny ring in in the barrel is the cartridge case.Only rifle bullets on hand are either .30 cal or .25cal. No other bullets on hand so it was not wrong caliber bullet.Took it to a gunsmith who was on the army marksmanship team and is a competition shooter who builds rifles for self and others. HE VERIFIES IT WAS NOT A BARREL OBSTRUCTION.Tried double load of powder which fills the case to within about 1/8 inch to the top feel sure i would have noticed that when checking cases prior to seating bullets The barrel shows some sign of indentation from the bolt head . I plan to contact the powder company and weatherby to see what they have to say. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/341/gun004.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/841/gun011.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/593/gun009.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/515/gun005.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/16/gun011.jpg/http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/gun010.jpg/

I don't mind lending a hand but you really need to learn how to post the pictures...

Thank you nononsence for fixing all the pic's.

pulsarnc You are a very lucky man. The results are why I like the idea of a bullpup but don't own any.

I am with you that a nearly full case would not pass an inspection. A double charge of bullseye is much harder to detect. A childhood friend made the mistake of a full case of 4895 instead of 4831 on top 130 gr hard cast (6.5mm with a .270 gas check swaged to .308, think short boattail). The first round recoiled harder than expected but showed no other signs of pressure. Second round had flat primer, but not excessive. Third round blew the primer and locked the bolt. Savage 110 E earned my respect that day. It was later when I pulled the rest of the loads I figured out his powder mistake.
