WC846

Does 25 grains of WC846 with a 55 grain FMJBT bullet seem like a reasonable load? Rifle has a 16", 1/9 twist barrel.

Wait a minute here; we are missing a critical bit of information. What cartridge are you asking about??

PLEASE, do not use this information below until we know for sure what cartridge is being discussed.....

Yes. Depends on the lot though; start with BLC2 start loads and work up. I use a lot of it (26 gr) with a 50 gr a-max.

IF You are talking .223 data then 25g is a good load. With WC or WCC 846 you can use the start data for Hodgdon BLC(2).

I have used this same load for .223 with the same barrel and twist many times with good results.
