a question that came to mind while lying in bed this morning....\

I just started reloading shotguns shells I was wondering what a good load is for trap using 2 3/4 Winchester AA loading with ether Blue dot or unqie. Thanks and im pretty new so bear with me[:D]

    Yep.

My uncle used to reload slugs in star crimped hulls(8 crimp).

He gave a box to my dad & didn't know about them. I found out the hard way they were slugs.

I use the gray AA's for my lyman cast sabot slugs but I put a S on the base in majic marker for slug so I can see that in single shot or in the bandaller.

The roll crimp used for slugs is difficult to fold as an 8 or 6 point crimp. The plastic has to be heated to make the fold. It's not worth the time or effort.
