litetriggerlitetrigger Member Posts: 320 ✭✭
I just bought a 357 Herrett in a Martini rifle 28" barrel. I know that the loading info. that I can find so far is for is for T/C pistols. Anyone have some loads for rifle? Thanks Litetrigger

If you are using lighter than 150gr bullets use the pistol data.
If you are going to use the heavy 180 and bigger tips, use the
35 Remington starting {low end} rifle data and lower the charge by 10%.
Most 35 remington rifle listed loads are fairly light as far as pressures. You have a little less case capacity in the Herrett, so the 10% reduction is needed.
