could someone verify this for me. 300gr jsp starting at 17.6 grains to max of 19.5 of 2400 powder. for ruger blackhawk/old model vaquero. thanks

It's a good shooting load in my ruger 77/44 and 44 mag ruger carbine (semi-auto) so I think with the extra case space of the 45 colt, it is probably a safe load in solid guns like ruger handguns and Thompson Center Contenders and the like. Obviously, only use modern cases with a solid web.
In fact my son just shot an 8 1/2 year old doe with that load this season and she only went about 25 yards.
