I was doing some reloading last night and had one of my Lee Auto
Disc Powder Measure Hoppers mounting holes to strip out.
I've had that to happen to another one in the past so I
got to looking at a way to repair them.
I took some JB Weld and put it on the outside of the
hopper where the screws had split the thin plastic and it
worked like a charm. Enough of the weld went into the
crack to tighten up the screw holes. It's even better now
than it was when it was new. I didn't say they were prettier than they were when they were new but they are stronger. [:)]
The hoppers only cost about $8.50 new but that's $8.50
saved and multiply that by two I saved $17 bucks and
didn't have to wait on them to be shipped. [^]
Anyway if anyone is interested and has ever had that
problem it can be fixed cheap.
