Wound up with a near-new Brazilian FAL for much less than its' market price, shoots real nice but leaves longitudinal scars on the brass.
I can feel ridges after sizing them.
Is new brass every time the "real" price I hafta pay now?

Used Nato brass is/was cheap.

I was cleaning it, and tryin' to find anything other than the German proof on the barrel, the Israeli (?) stamp on the receiver, the "Brazilian" IMBEL logo, or the (turns out to be a)PTR 91 mag with custom options.
I shoulda bin more wary about a homemade gun than happy to get another "STG58" version.
Cleaned up real purty, trigger plunger was gross.
Maybe got a HK91 barrel on it, or mighta been from DSA; for +/-$400, I think it'll work.
