Recipes for .44 mag 210gr Silvertip

I've been given a bunch of 210 grain Winchester Silvertip JHPs recently. I'm trying to find a mild/moderate load for a .44 mag, 6" barrel, with Unique in the recipe...it burns pretty clean, and I've got LOADS of it. In all my manuals (some are pretty old), I come up with loads ranging from 6-10 grains Unique, depending on the source. Does anybody have some first-hand experience with Silvertip handloads using Unique (or even Herco), and can enlighten me with a "tried-and-true" recipe that'll provide an accurate and SAFE load? I'd appreciate it.

My mistake...They're 251 grain Silvertips.
Too many numbers going through my head.

I believe that your eyes are playing tricks again on you. I have 5 boxes in my basement for my 44's and they are all marked 210grn Silvertips. I use them in my single shot 44's and they group great. Have never used them in my revolvers. Try H110 or 2400 and see what you get from there.

Yep they are 210,,,296 works good also

If I am not mistaken, the silvertip is not a jacketed bullet. It is lead with a silver "wash". Excellent bullet though. Nice wide, deep hollow point. Try 7.5 grains of Unique. Excellent midrange accurate load.
