Headstamp primer identification

je2140je2140 Member Posts: 225 ✭✭
I picked up some 308 cases at the range to reload. They have a FNM L 92-12 L21A1 headstamp. I know they are Portugese military surplus, but have seen conflicting information that they may or may not be Boxer primed. Can anybody advise what type of primer they have?
Thanks

    I don't know what kind of primers the Portygees use but you can find out yourself.
    Get under a strong light or in the sunshine and look down inside a fired case.
    How many flashholes?
    One in the center = Boxer
    Two = most common Berdan
    One offcenter, three, etc., = other Berdan.
