For trap you cannot use any shot size bigger than 7 1/2. wad and powder is up to you. I use 800X and a AA114 in my 12, never done much with 20s. For the hulls I would try and find some AA or Remington STS.

Get a copy of the Lyman Shotgun Reloading Manual. It will be one of the best investments you'll ever make. Read it cover to cover and you'll be a much smarter guy for it. There is an incredible amount of information in that book.
For hulls Win. AA or Remington STS are both excellent for what you have in mind. The wad type will be determined by the type hull and the primer type will be determined by your other components.
Don't just mix and match or change components as you can develop unsafe pressures. The Lyman Manual will explain all that stuff.
Get a copy of "The Gunlist" sales ads (similar to the Shotgun News) if you can find one. Lots of places selling once fired hulls off of ranges.
Once you decide on hull type you can get the other components to match your goal.
    Good Luck.............[^]

Since Winchester switched their AA hulls I have switched over to Remington STS hulls and really like them. I use Claybuster brand wads (quite a bit cheaper) and Hodgdon Universal Clays powder for 20ga. Standard Clays for 12ga.
