AA Hulls for 28 Gauge

oscaroscar Member Posts: 13 ✭✭
I just bought a 28 gauge and a sizemaster reloader. Bought a couple of boxes of AA's and STS's. The AA's seem to be made of thicker plastic, which I expect would be more durable. However, I can't get the AA's to come close to crimping on my reloader. No problem with the STS's. Has anyone else had problems with 28 gauge AA hulls? Any opinions on STS Remington hulls?

I'm assuming that you are using the correct wad for the Win 28 ga hulls?? The new ones are the HS hulls and they do require the newer HS wad and generally require a little "tweaking" of the crimp starter and crimp finisher on most loaders. I think they are pretty durable hulls once we get the loaders set up properly.

Sorry, I don't use the Rem STS hulls, so I can't help you with them.

    Good luck.
