Anybody got a good load for this caliber,using 145 gr cast bullets?
I use the rcbs bullet that I cast myself.I've been using 28 grs of Wichester 748. Thanks

Sorry no one has replied to your post yet. I load for this but not with cast bullets. So I don't know what powders are going to melt lead at what pressures.
However, if it matters I use 24 grs. of XMR2015 behind a 140 gr. Rem PSP as my generic round. I use other bullets for accuracy the 140's were cheaper by the #500 so I went with them and they shoot very well. You would have to reduce the charge with 2015. When I last spoke with Wes Ugalde about the 7mm TCU he said there is no better powder for it than 4895. So, since I use 25.5 gr. behind a 140, I would suggest trying a load of around 20-21 gr. of 4895 and working up and seeing how that works. -good luck
