Hi can anyone suggest where to start? loading a 577-450 martini henry round. I am using a 300 grain lead bullet, and the powder is the 3031, the rifle is in excellent shape, the brass is new, and I am wondering if 40 grains of 3031 would be too much. I dont want to go full factory load. reason I am asking here is because I had good experiance with this forum in the past. I understand that you are not liable. so I am asking anyway. many thanks Joe
