Taurus 357 mag

I went to the range today.I took tweo pistals a 375 mag Taurus with a twi inch barrel, and my 40 cal XD.The 357 mag kicks like a mule.I was using 158 grain bullets. If I use a regular 38 shell and a jacketed 148 grain bullet will it tame the kick ?

Yes using 38 spl will tame the recoil.357 is a snappy round, shooting out of a 2" barrel will have a lot of recoil. If tou shoot a lot of 38 pay extra attention to cleanig the cylinder so you don't get buildup that will keep you from chambering a 357 in it.
