That is the only thing there is to wear out. Buy a new tumbler!

Olsen but, is there a source for this type of motor? Easier, and cheaper,to change motors rather than return to manufacture or buy a new one.

Go to industrial supply house like MSC or others and look at motors compare mounting size and output shaft size. and RPM

I would first check the wiring. I have broken a lot of motor leads over the years due to all the vibration. I think I have repaired the wiring 4 times on the one I am using now.

I know that you can buy replacement motors from Midway for the Franklin tumbler. It is basically the same as the old Midway 1290 tumbler just a different color and Franklin is owned by the same people that own Midway. I had to change the leads but I put a new Franklin motor in my old Midway 1290 last year and it works fine.

I'll check with Grainger. I've repaired the wires many times but the
metal part that holds the bearing in place is broken. Thanks for the help.

Yes, you wore through it. Get a new tumbler, on sale.
