I've used AA2230 with the loads from the AA load book and I think it's mostly experiment and test because those things are much more variable than regular bullets. I used the starting loads and was about to give up due to poor accuracy when I found that they shot much better after several shots. Must have been something about the condition of the barrel which was squeaky clean. I only used one rifle a mauser rebarrelled with a new take off remington 30/06 barrel. I'm going to try them in another with more wear on the riflings and see if there is a difference. I would suggest care and caution when using some of the very general loading data included with some of the sabots.Compared to what the manual listed, some of the loads would be pretty hairy.

I bought some to try in an old SKS..The instructions said to fill the case with IMR 3031...I haven't tried any yet..I'm not very optimistic...
