Hello Mike I am confused on what exactly your question is. I cast and lube many lead bullets in many different calibers . The normal way is to cast the bullet in a mold and then use a machine to lube and size the RAW cast bullet in one operation . In this method you need a sizer die for each caliber bullet. other then that i don't know what you are asking.. I buy the bullet lube in sticks that fit my machine.

Hello Gold Gun Man . Let me make a suggestion check with your Plastics dealer one brand that I buy comes in a very thin wall clear plastic tube with a cap on each end The maker just pours it into the tube. The other thing you need to know is some machines Like Star and Magma uses a solid round stick 1 inch by about 3 inches but many like RCBS and LYMAN use a same size stick but with a hole down the middle about 3/8 inch diameter.the standard lube is 50% alox & 50% bees-wax but there are some brands that have to be heated to use and are very hard and others that are SYN. but they all sell fairly cheap. I don't want to throw cold water on your project but it will be a hard sell to get most people to change from their brand to yours ...

All the lube sticks I've purchased were already shaped (tubeuler sticks) to fit the chamber on my "lube-sizer".
Now if your making your own soft lube, you could pour it directly into the lube chamber. The factories extrude/cut the sticks, they don't cast them.

I make my own bullet lube (felix lube, from the folks at the cast boolit forum- I HATE that name). Works great. Unless making to sell, don't worry; just let harden in old butter tubs, cottage cheese tubs, etc. When ready to use, microwave about 5 minutes, then pour into your lubesizer. Better than a stick, it doesn't leave any air pockets.

If you must make it into a tube, a piece of PVC with a screw off bottom and another piece of PVC rod glued to that bottom, sprayed with spray silicone works well. Pour in the top, unscrew when hardened, and it slides right out. Then grasp the lube with waxed paper and slide off the stick. I have not done this personally but a good shooting buddy of mine does and it works fine.
