Reloading 50AE questions?

Can anyone tell me why the Lee Factory crimp die is not offered for the 50AE cartridge? Does anyone have experience with reloading this round? I have a Desert Eagle and it is getting mighty expensive to shoot. Also, are the Speer nickle cases ok for reloading or do I need to buy some Starline 50AE brass?

I dont know for sure but I would contact LEE my WAG is the round is too big in diameter to make a crimp die of the lee type to fit in the confines of the die body. As far as nickle cases nickle seems to develope cracks before brass does "brittle" and I dont thing you can aneal them like you can a brass case.

I reload the 50AE. Most of the loads are compressed loads. I have used Accurate 1680 with speer 325's. I cant answer your Lee press question I use RCBS.
