im ready to fire up my 16ga press again. its been decades. needless to say, federal doesnt sell purple hulls anymore. so off to the store i go looking for a nice 8 point crimp reloadable hull. i came home empty!
so, switching to 6 point is no big deal. but my question is...what are to companies making 16ga out there that are reloadable?? i dont want to touch winchester if they went to that HS junk. i prefer the old style wads.
so,
how about federal?
remington?
anyone else?
seems the only way i can get hulls is to buy factories and shoot em off. and the only ones i see that are not max field loads with low pressure, come in #8 with 1200fps. i think it was remington black hulls. any others?
with that answered, then ill need to know a good load to make 1oz 1200fs loads. thanks!
