Why is there a price difference in brass from the same companies that are from the "same family" (i.e 30-06 and .270 and the 25-06 or the .308 and 22-250)? The only real differnce is the headstamp and how far down it is necked. Thanks,

The other factor based on market demand is that it costs less to produce more. The set-up costs are reduced. Also, once produced if the case type sits on the shelf too long someone has to pay(or lose/not gain) interest on the money they spent to get it there.
