reduced load for a 300 rem ultra mag

I see there is a reduced 300 rem ultra mag load for sale with felt recoil of a 30-06 and does not rattle every bone in my body. Has anyone tried a reduced load that has shot well. I have a model 700. I was hoping to shoot somewhere in the 165gr. range but am open to suggestions. Thanks, again!

    I am not trying to be a smart alec but with reduced recoil you also get reduced velocity and reduced energy maybe you would be better off to just trade your 300 in for a 30/06[^]

    I have a 300 wby that will slap you silly I know what you mean I would also suggest getting a shoulder pad it will cut down a lot of the felt recoil
