Red Diamond Powder

Does anybody have any reloading info for Scot Red Diamond powder?
Going through my stash I found a can that I don't know how long I have had. It is still sealed. I can't find any info about it. If anyone just can tell me what the burn rate is comparable to that will help. Thanks

Never heard if it, is there an address or a phone number on the can? if so try to get info that way.

Scot brought out Red Diamond powder to compete with Hercules/Alliant Red Dot. They were full of little tricks like that, with powders like 453 and 4065.

Red Diamond is no 8 on a burn rate chart that shows Red Dot as no 9 and Solo 1000 as no 7. Not good enough for actual load data except in some very specific situations, but a start.

Solo was taken over by Accurate Arms. Western Powder/Ramshot bought out Accurate Arms. So, even though they no longer show Red Diamond powder, you might get some information from Ramshot.

Thanks for info, where did you find the burn rate chart with Red diamond on it? I didn't find one when I was looking.

Thanks Hawk, it looks like if I use Red Dot data I should be OK.
I've never been of Ramshots web site, I've never used any of their powder.

I have a copy of the ninth edition of Scot's shotshell reloading manual which covers Red Diamond and others. If you will send me your address I will mail it to you.
