Todays range report with Varget and 175SMK.

Setup is a Savage 10FP 26" Barrel with 1:10 Twist

Sunny 60 Degree
Tail wind of about 8mph


Target is a 3" Orange Sticky

Average Velocity is 2735FPS
ES: 22
SD 11

I had one freaking meanie flyer that ruin the pretty group. Very happy with the other 4. Looks like a lil over an inch.

Load: 175 Sierra Match King
Varget 44.5gn
Federal Gold Medal brass
CCI BR2 primer
Case prep: Fireformed then neck sized with .337 bushing. Debur flash hole. Trim to 2.05.
OAL is 2.80

    Well we will see what this load does out at some real range tomorrow. I decided to say screw it and shoot my first long range match tomorrow. See if she can get it done at 1000 in the morning.
