primers for 44 special

i load 44 special and was wondering if i could use magnum primers instead of reg. large pistol primers?

    Drop the load you normally use with the regular primers by a grain and half. Slowly work your way back up, checking for pressure signs, and to see if your getting comparable accuracy.

    I only use magnum primers, since it's easier to keep track that way. Never had a problem. Loaded with a CCI #350, 6.5 gr of Universal, and a 225 gr. HP (I think, I just got a new shipment of components and can't remember for sure), it works just fine.
