Just got back from the range and used 24 grs. of XMR2015 behind a 55 gr. Hornady V-max in my .223Rem.(Savage 12FV) Velocity was pretty low for a 26" barrel, around 3050 fps avg.
I typically put 3-4 out of 5 into a 1" group and the 4th and/or 5th always were a flyer @ 300 yds. Still all groups came out under 3". I had to do a little doping for the wind today so who knows...if I could shoot that right my groups could do a little better.
This was the most accurate powder I ever used in my old .222 in Win 70 Heavy barrel. Anyone else ever try it? Let me know what you think.
We have the second amendment so that all the rest are secure....UNK>
