Looking for a good bullet and powder to start with, any suggestions.

    H110, W 296 (they are both the same for all practical purposes) and 250 or 300 grain Hornady XTP's has always worked for me.
    If you need a tougher bullet for huge critters use the ones from Freedom Arms, if they still do that.
    Start low and increase the powder until you reach that (I don't want to do this anymore) level.
    They seem to shoot the best with max loads...........

    Gun control is hitting what your aiming at.
