bobskibobski Member Posts: 17,866 ✭✭✭
just shot up a flat of these 16ga loads and they worked fine for skeet. i hate to chuck them, so anyone have some data to reload these back to 1oz or 1 1/8oz/1200fps with SP-16 wads? i tend to use 4756 for my 16ga loads. thanks!

I just checked the IMR powder guide, and it lists a drop to 1175 fps if you use a Fed. 209 primer instead of the Winchester.

It still calls for an SP16 wad and 22 grains of 4756.

I like 4756 powder. It's a bit dirty burning, but it seems to be very easy to adjust loads with it without running into problems.
