For those that reload 410, and want a good shell try this on for size.. I shoot skeet with a .410 and wasnt happy with the various loads recommended in the books and was scoring 20, 21 , and rare 22 now and then so I tried some reloads of my own and stepping up the charge and reducing the shot a bit.
17 1/2 Grains of Alliant 2400 Magnum pistol powder, and just under 1/2 oz of number 8 shot. winchester 209 primers. winchester 41 wads
took em to the range and shot two 24s and a 23 in a row.
Down here in Florida unless you search for bargains, 410 shells are anywhere from 8.00 to 11.00 dollars a box, cost to reload is under 2. 75
