Best way to go for a turkey shoot gun?

I've heard different opinions about the best turkey shoot gun to use and I'm considering using my Remington 870 with a 36" Wadlock barrel or having my Marlin mod.55 GOOSE GUN tapped out for Rem chokes. Most of the shoots in my area require 36" or less barrels with.670 or bigger chokes.Does one of these options sound good or should I go with an alternative to get started in Turkey Shoots and be competative?

i used too build a lot of turkey shoot guns.the easiest way too get a great shooting standard match gun (.670 or above ) is to buy a mossberg 835 and have a .670 tube made for it.the mossberg is made with a .775 bore and when you put in a .670 tube you end up with a great shooting gun because you get more restriction.if you wish too discuss match guns email me. ddhotbot@hotmail.com
