Is the 6.5x284 winchester the same as the 6.5x284 Norma? If they are different. In what way are they different?

    They are different:

    The leade and throat are longer in the Norma Match.

    The neck is tighter in the Norma Match.

    The Norma match chamber is set up to be slightly tighter requiring neck turning in some situations and to accept the longer length VLD bullets for long range target shooting. This way you can seat the bullets out to gain powder space in the case.

    Norma and Lapua brass are ready to use in the Norma Match chambers.
