Information about reloading

I am wanting to enter the hobby of reloading my ammo for a few reasons:
1. Cheaper for Cowboy Action Shooting.
2. 7.62X39 ammo might be going up in price?
3. Having resonable .30-30 and 8mm Mauser ammo without having to wait on gun shows.
What I need to know is are all presses the same, in other words can I buy a press and use it to reload 38 Special and change it to reload 8mm Mauser? If not what is the best route to take, because I will be reloading: 22 hornet, .30-30, 38 Special, 7.62X39 (maybe if the prices spike), and 8mm Mauser plus a few others. Also which do you think is better LEE or Dillon Precision?

No- You have three types
Single Stage press
Turret press
and Progressive press.
For high volume (500+ Rounds at a time) buy a Dillion progressive
Single Stage RCBS,Forester, for say a few rounds here and there
I am in between and use a Lyman turret with two heads. (that will give me about 4-5 Cals. to reload depending on rifle or pistol)
