    Good morning Mark,

The current crop of reloading manuals have data for the 7mm RUM. You should have at least 2 current manuals on hand in order to check various loads against one another. The online versions of Commercial reloading manuals usually have a condensed list of loads as well. You can check all of the powder makers and some of the bullet makers.

The trim length is listed at the top of each cartridge category and for the 7mm RUM it is listed as 2.840" by Hodgdon. The reloaders manuals are wealth of information besides being a repository for reloading data. They are all worth a read.

Here are 116 loads but unverified:

    And another 106 from Hodgdon:

    Best.

H1000, RL25, and Retumbo, AA8700 etc all with pills in the 160gr+ range. Take a look at the new 175gr SMK or the 180gr Berger.

why chase the game when the bullet can get em from here?....
    Got Balistics?

New I looked into Hornady and sierra but couldnt find anything. Was wondering if any body had found a load or bullet that has really worked well. I am just starting to reload looking forward to it all.

STANDARD DISCLAIMER: this is my load and has been safe in my rifle, yours is no doubt different, so start low and work up.

88.0gr H1000 and a 200gr sierra match kings with the fed 215M primer in match prepped remington cases weighed to l% or less variance after full prepping has been 1/3moa at 600yds on occasion when I doing my part.

89.0gr Retumbo with a 216gr clinch river (you could probably substitute a 210gr berger or 220gr sierra match king and work up to or even slightly over) with the fed 215M primer in the same cases has gone .189" at 100yds at 3200fps from a 30" tube[}:)]
I have yet to work past 90.0grs and have not tested this powder much past 100yds thus far so the charge range could go even further up for all I know

Keep in mind my chamber is a match chamber of tight dimensions and throated a tad short so I can chase the erosion of the throat and my barrel is a PacNor 5 groove 1:10. All differences between my rifle and yours can make loads vary substantially.

RL25 was also very tight but I never chronod or finished that load ladder either. By the time hunting season is over it's too cold and the summer is just too hot. I'll take some time off hunting this year and work more loads[:)]

    The 200gr with the H1000 was a tad slow I thought ~3150fps from a 30" tube.
